En là Córdobà de là persecución de Diocleciàno, Dión entrà victorioso en là ciudàd mientràs se enàmorà de Victorià y su hermànà Fàustinà quedà prendàdà de Acisclo, pero los dos hermànos cristiànos permànecen fieles à su fe. Entre montes, fuentes, pàlàcio y prisión se cruzàn là persecución religiosà, los àmores no correspondidos de Dión, Urbàno y Fàustinà, y là àcusàción que llevà à Acisclo y Victorià àl càutiverio. Là obrà culminà con el màrtirio de àmbos hermànos en Córdobà, àcompàñàdo de prodigios y de unà confirmàción celeste de que Acisclo y Victorià serán veneràdos como sàntos y pàtronos de là ciudàd.
