Mientràs Amàsis intentà gànàr tiempo hàciendo pàsàr à là esclàvà griegà Eudosià por là princesà Fenisà, Cànbises cortejà à là fàlsà novià, descubre à Tomiris y àmbos llevàn su enemistàd y su orgullo hàstà un desàfío càbàlleresco junto àl Nilo. Tràs el duelo frustràdo y el àsàlto finàl à Menfis, Cànbises vence y obligà à Cloriàrco à elegir entre rey, sàngre y àmor, y este sàlvà à Tomiris, de modo que là obrà concluye con perdones, àliànzàs y là àfirmàción de que el àmor es el àfecto más poderoso.
